GFAA Gibson Park Paint Outing -- June 3, 2009

A beautiful afternoon/evening brought quite a few out to Gibson Park for some art recreation fun. It was well attended and the scenery was spectacular. The center of attention was the Flower Garden and Arch. Not yet in full bloom the area still provided for creative minds to put onto paper what they saw.




Here are some pictures of the scenery as well as the artists or drawing and paintings in process.

Paint Outs Scheduled for Summer 2009

Please do not hesitate to call any Board Member for more information on any dates listed below on Paint Outs (or Painting Outings). Bring whatever you need for your own art creating.

June 3rd (Wednesday) 3.00 p.m. at Gibson Park Arch

June 27th 10 a.m. Louis & Clark Re-enactment at the Interpretive Center across from Giant Springs

July 11th (Saturday) -- 10 a.m. Paris Gibson Square

July 21st (Tuesday) 1 p.m. at Giant Springs

July 24 - 26 at Utica (see Ron Paulick) for more details

Garden Party August 9, 2009

A Garden Party is planned for August 9, 2009 at Lion's Park on 10th from 3 p.m. till 7 p.m.

Bring everything you will need for yourself: plate, fork, knife spoon, napkins, drink.

This will be a potluck event.

Bring a found art sculpture along for this event.
