June 3rd (Wednesday) 3.00 p.m. at Gibson Park Arch

June 27th 10 a.m. Louis & Clark Re-enactment at the Interpretive Center across from Giant Springs

July 11th (Saturday) -- 10 a.m. Paris Gibson Square

July 21st (Tuesday) 1 p.m. at Giant Springs

Chinook Winds Quartet -- Create a Painting

Chinook Winds Quartet -- Create a Painting offer has been made.

Create a painting -- size limited to 4 ft that you feel inspired from their upcoming pieces to be performed at various locations in the coming year.

Submittal date for consideration and selection is January 30th - February 1st. Please ask a Board Member for more information.

Sample CD's of their music for this piece are available for review.

Garden Party August 9, 2009

A Garden Party is planned for August 9, 2009 at Lion's Park on 10th from 3 p.m. till 7 p.m.

Bring everything you will need for yourself: plate, fork, knife spoon, napkins, drink.

This will be a potluck event.

Bring a found art sculpture along for this event.

New Art for Baker Bob's

Open to all current GFAA members, 2-D art is hung at Baker Bob's, 112 Central Avenue, Great Falls.

Label and price your art if you wish to sell. No sales commission is taken! We are leaving this opportunity up to you to handle, but here is the schedule we've set up for you: All changes are done the Third Thursday of the following months: July 16, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. So when you have new art and want to display it take to Baker Bobs. If you don't have art there, find a spot, tell Baker Bob that you are with the GFAA, and hang your piece (you must have your own hammer and nail.)

Lodestone Gallery & Design

Chuck Fulcher has opened his studio, Lodestone Gallery & Design at 318 Central Avenue, to any of us that would like to observe his technique. Sundays after 5 p.m. Usually Monday or Tuesday if the lights are on. He reserves the right to refuse if he is working in a difficult place.
